Terms of Service

§ 1 Scope of Application

These Terms of Service apply to all contracts between QR Code Manager (hereinafter "Provider") and users of the platform (hereinafter "Customer"). Terms and conditions of the Customer that deviate from these terms are not recognized unless the Provider expressly agrees to their validity.

§ 2 Description of Services

QR Code Manager offers the following services:

• Free Trial (14 days): Creation of a dynamic QR code without registration. The QR code is active for 14 days after creation. After this period, the QR code is automatically deactivated. Anyone scanning the QR code will be redirected to an expiry page.
• Pro Subscription: Permanently active dynamic QR codes, ability to change the destination URL at any time, scan statistics.
• Physical Products: Printing of QR codes on stickers, business cards, mugs, and other promotional materials.

§ 3 Trial Period and Deactivation

The Customer is expressly informed: The QR code created during the free trial is limited to 14 days. After this period:

• The QR code is automatically deactivated.
• Visitors who scan the QR code are redirected to an information page.
• Reactivation is only possible by taking out a Pro subscription.
• No automatic subscription is created after the trial expires.

§ 4 Prices and Payment Terms

• All prices include the applicable statutory value added tax (20% VAT).
• The Pro subscription costs €2.90 per month.
• Payment is made monthly in advance via the payment service provider Stripe.
• Accepted payment methods: credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express).
• In the event of a failed payment, the account will be deactivated after a grace period of 7 days.

§ 5 Subscription – Duration and Cancellation

The Pro subscription is concluded for an indefinite period and renews automatically on a monthly basis unless cancelled.

• Notice period: At any time before the end of the current billing period.
• Cancellation: Exclusively via the "Cancel now" button in your account under Settings › Subscription.
• After cancellation, access remains active until the end of the paid month.
• After the subscription expires, QR codes are reset to trial status and deactivated after a grace period of 7 days.

§ 6 Right of Withdrawal

As a consumer, you generally have a 14-day right of withdrawal for digital services. By expressly consenting and acknowledging the expiry of the right of withdrawal upon immediate performance, the right of withdrawal may expire.

§ 7 User Obligations

The Customer undertakes not to use the platform for:

• Illegal content or links to illegal content
• Phishing, fraud, or other deceptive activities
• Spam or unsolicited advertising
• Violations of third-party rights (copyright, trademark law)

In the event of violations, the Provider reserves the right to immediately deactivate QR codes and block accounts without refunding amounts already paid.

§ 8 Availability

The Provider aims for a platform availability of 99% on an annual average. Planned maintenance work will be announced in advance. There is no entitlement to uninterrupted availability.

§ 9 Limitation of Liability

The Provider is not liable for damages arising from the deactivation of an expired QR code, provided that the Customer was duly informed of the trial limitation. Liability is limited to the amount paid by the Customer in the last month.

§ 10 Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

Austrian law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. The place of jurisdiction for business customers is Vienna. For consumers, the place of jurisdiction is the consumer's place of residence.
